More beautiful young women that I had so much fun taking their photographs. This was a spontaneous senior mini-session, and I am so glad we captured their first prom experience. A. & T. just stepped in front of the camera and absolutely glowed under the studio lights. Thanks girls for such an energy filled session!

Remember, you can purchase these online proofs for only $10 an image. These photographs would make great prints to display in your home for everyone to enjoy. Please contact me at: for more information.

…whoa there ladies!

Yet another gorgeous neighbor of mine, who looked absolutely fabulous for Prom. I can’t believe the transformation of these lovely young ladies…they aren’t little girls anymore. Thank you, thank you, R. for the opportunity to photograph your first, and only daughter while her nails were painted, her hair was just right, and she was simply glowing. I am surrounded by the best people, I love my neighbors!

Can you believe she’s ONLY 16? What a stunning young lady, who happens to be my next door neighbor! Thanks M. for allowing me to capture your beautiful daughter on her big night. I hope you don’t mind, but I had so much fun playing around with different photo effects while editing L. pics. Hope you love the photographs as much as I do!

They sure grow up fast!  This little sweetie was just barely a newborn in the studio and now she’s filled out and ready for her blessing day.  Moms who think their 6 weeks old are getting their newborn pictures taken forget that they truly start out more like this and that moment just lasts a few short weeks after they are born!  Enjoy these beautiful pictures of baby S.– she’s sweet, like chocolate!

[. . . and that's a wrap! This baby's done with pictures and ready to hit the road!]

Thanks N. for bringing your little cupcake to the studio for more pictures–by the time she’s one, she’ll think she owns the place!!

One of my most fun and adventurous wedding couples returned to the studio last week to have me photograph their brand new IDENTICAL TWIN BOYS!!  Hx2 made their debut in the studio in a fabulous way.  They are such sweet babies and so good-natured.  In fact, the crying began only after the session was over.  These little guys are SO handsome and teeny tiny.   These photos marked their two week birthday–so glad to have catpured these moments . . . aren’t newborns just amazing??

So the question parents of twins will have answer many times over: How can you tell them apart? Right now, the babies are slightly different sizes which can be notable in the photos of them exactly side-by-side. For photographer’s purposes, we “sorted” them according to each boy’s designated color. These guys are going to be glad that mom can actually tell them which one is which in the photos of them individually, as we kept to the blue/ green color scheme for all of their individual portraits.

The timing of this session was a blessing for me, as my own baby is due to arrive in the next few weeks. With recent concern about my own baby arriving early and underweight it was a true comfort to me to hold two healthy babies that were the same size as mine. It renewed my confidence that all will be well, as anyone who spends time with a newborn can not underestimate the absolute miracle of life!

To C & T:  A big congratulations!  It is so neat to see how your family has grown!!  Thanks for allowing me the privilege of being your photographer!

What a cute little lady all decked out in her mamas pearls.  Sweet Z. had so much fun dressing up in her new tutu and smiling or the camera.  I love these pictures- they just make me smile.

This recent one-year old session went down like this:

1.  Play with a cool wooden box.  Peekaboo and Hide and Seek.

2. Become mesmerized by the lovely studio  light.

6. Happy birthday, BIG BOY!! To the P fam– it has been a blast photographing your handsome this past year!! What an amazing experience- to see him start out so tiny (and early) and to just thrive.  You’re amazing parents and I am so fortunate to know you!

7. Spare no crumb. As you can see, this kiddo went to town on his birthday cake. His obvious goal was to finish it off!!

I finally gave up waiting to do a happy, sunny, springtime photo shoot outside because it never seemed to stop SNOWING!  So I decided to improvise inside the studio, and take some pictures that chased the dull, wintertime blues away.  I got some bright blue photo paper to change it up a little, and dressed the kids in their most springtime attire.  It’s amazing what a little bright, spring, color therapy can do  for the photographers soul!

Then I played around in photoshop and came up with this antiqued cowgirl portrait which is my favorite!
