…just for fun- this was our last shot from the session.
Pardon my lack of posting as of recent– I feel I have good reason, as I’ve been busy snuggling with my new baby girl! We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Baby C., our fourth child. She arrived shortly before midnight on April 25th, weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring 19.5″ in length. She was welcomed with open arms by her big sisters and big brother (and of course mom and dad!).
Some of my favorite things about our little sweetie:
1. She has the sweetest, purest, eyes and I have to catch my breath when she gazes deeply into mine. I think she knows more than she lets on.
2. She is SO soft! Her velvety fresh skin smells and feels like heaven.
3. Her facial expressions- she can often look perplexed, then content, then concerned, then confused, then content again–all in a minute’s time.
4. I love it when she stretches- she uses her whole little body to stretch and she wrinkles her entire forehead when she does.
5. She makes little lamb sounds and grunts when she is awake/ asleep. Not a big fan of when she turns purple if she is really upset- I much prefer the idea of her not holding her breath!
6. She looks so tiny in everything she wears- and I know soon enough she’ll outgrow her NB clothes and look just as fabulous in the next size up.
7. C. doesn’t mind if I just hold her and smooch her the whole day through–I don’t think a new baby can be held “too much.”
8. Her hair looks like the down of a fuzzy chick when freshly washed. It is especially thick and silky on the back of her head–one of my favorite spots.
9. She smiles in her sleep and keeps us in suspense of what she’s smiling about. Someday she may tell us.
10. We can’t imagine our family with out her–it seems she’s always been with us. We are so smitten with her!

I think we captured some real emotion with your two little ones…they are so precious. I am so glad that I got to see you on your quick trip to UT, maybe I’ll head out to CA and do a mini photo session. Enjoy!
