Watch for this one in the magazines!! I have to brag a bit, as this gorgeous gal is my NIECE. Yep, I’ve had the privilege of photographing her for her entire life. I had such a blast photographing her in the studio- and she is such a natural beauty. We couldn’t resist blowing all of that beautiful hair around with the fan. We had great fun playing dress-up with the accessories we have in the studio- sunglasses, hats, scarves, etc. I don’t know that I’ve ever had a more difficult time picking my top favorites for the blog, as she shines in every one! Just WOW.

[this one was asking for the "twilight" treatment]

Izzy plans to use the images from our shoot as part of her modeling portfolio. Girl, you are amazing!!

Thanks H. Family for allowing me to photograph your family- you did great considering we were being attacked by mosquitoes, and waiting forever for the sun to go down. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek from your session.

Can you believe she is 50 years old…I didn’t! My beautiful neighbor L. decided to surprise her hubby for Father’s Day/ Birthday with a classy photo session that he would never suspect. I think the pictures turned out great- D. you are one lucky guy!

I can’t believe all of T. long hair is gone- no more “Tomacina” (ha ha Dad).
P. I am so glad we took some pictures to document all of YOUR hard work growing his hair out. He looks so sweet!

A few days ago I enjoyed the recent opportunity to photograph one of our long-time clients for an article on Women in Business for an upcoming edition of Utah Valley Magazine. She is the creator and owner of the innovative and refreshing new restaurant, Blue Lemon in Highland, Utah. We sought to capture some headshots to showcase Lychelle’s down-to-earth personality and business sense. Her radiant smile just shines through in every shot! Which do you think would be perfect for the magazine article??

If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy the yummy food at the restaurant, I highly recommend it. In fact, I took some of my family there for lunch yesterday to introduce them to the most delicious sweet potato fries you can imagine. I also indulged in a tasty portobello mushroom burger and the kids loved the baked mac & cheese. And, if you’re in the market for environmental portraiture for your business, we seem to be photographing plenty of kitchens these days!!
As promised, I will share more pictures from a fabulous bride & groom (pre-wedding) session from last week. Sorry to keep you waiting with that itty bitty sneak peek . . . I just have too many favorites! I’ll share some of them now:
First, the bride & groom-to-be when they first see each other in their wedding attire. We happened to be at the Tilt Photography studio and well, you know I couldn’t resist documenting this sweet moment!

[I brought my late grandmother's antique suitcase along for the photo shoot. When visualizing the session beforehand, I wanted to create a truly nostalgic image to highlight the bride's vintage-style gown. What more perfect touch than an old suitcase and abandoned train tracks? I was thrilled to see this image come to life!]

After the train tracks we traveled somewhere near the Emerald City for some poppy bliss . . . by way of Woodland Drive, of course!

[As you can see, we used up every bit of daylight and made the most of a beautiful evening! Can you believe how high he can jump?!?]
J & C I am truly looking forward to recording the priceless memories of your wedding day and I am so glad to be your photographer!

Thanks A. Family for an energetic, family fun, photo session. I am so glad the weather held out for us, we just about got rained out. Here are some of my favorites from your session, hope you enjoy!

I LOVE this one-

I enjoyed a fabulous bride & groom session this week (aka “groomals”) and I just can’t wait another minute to post a very small glimpse of what we captured . . .

I’m overwhelmed with favorite images from this session- J & C you were wonderful to work with, and I love the spark that is so evident between the two of you! I will be posting more to the blog after a bit of sleep.
I am so excited to photograph your upcoming wedding in a few weeks.
