We squeezed this fun maternity session in just in time! This couple welcomed their baby boy just about a week later! We just did his newborn session and I’ll be posting a sneak peak of those soon!  To R & T- I knew it then, and I know it now, you have a truly beautiful family.  Congratulations and I am so glad your sweet baby is here safe and sound!

I love the playful feeling of T & R on the “high key” white background. The simplicity of a white background really makes the subject stand out and T. they were just glowing with excitement for their baby’s upcoming arrival!

The images with the brown faux background hav e certain richness to them, and I love how so many of these images tell a story. I realized while post-processing images that there is a perfect song for every session. I was listening to pandora and the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” sung by Eva Cassidy came on. For me, it just brought the images all together and made me feel emotionally connected to the images. So I urge any of our clients to consider carefully the music they play when they first view their images!! The audio visual combination is very powerful!!

I also love the sleekness of black on black (black shirt/ pants on a black background). Doesn’t she look fabulous?

Sept-November is Tilt Photography’s busiest time of year for family portraits.  We hope you’ll consider Tilt for your custom photography this holiday season.

• Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled for 1-2 hours before sunset in the evenings. Availability on weeknights and some weekends.
• Your session includes a high resolution disc with printing rights. You are welcome to print on your own and you are also welcome to order professionally printed portraits through us. See a la carte print pricing.
• Remember, your session must be on or before October 14th in order to receive the $50 discount.  We are booking sessions at our regular rates for Oct. 15- Nov. 30th.
• Custom greeting cards are available too. Please contact us for design samples.

From sneaking into junk yards, to getting in the lake with dress clothes on…you two were such great sports no matter what I threw at you! Also, the cover girl was Amy’s former student . . . “I knew her when she was a 7th grader! I was her art/ photography teacher.” There’s our claim to fame!

What  a fun evening!  This awesome teen is so energetic and genuine and beautiful–I sure enjoyed our photography field trip.  She has such a natural and contagious smile and is just one of those people with true character.  Before the session, I knew that A. was really into softball and I dreamed up the idea of photographing her in her element: the softball field.  My fresh perspective on this was instead of her usual uniform, I suggested she wear a dress.  We arrived at the field while her teammates were still practicing.  I thought she’d be so embarrassed to show up at the field for senior pictures, while wearing a dress with the intention of joining them on the field.  Hardly.  This young lady was so comfortable in this setting we could have kept shooting all night.  We used up last bit of light on this warm summer night!

To the delightful and beautiful A.- your countenance shines!  Thank you for trusting me to take your senior pictures . . . best of luck this coming week as you begin your senior year!! You rock!

At three months old, babies have left the newborn stage for a whole new phase of  making eye-contact, sucking on hands, cooing and once in a while smiling.  Tiny wrinkles have now turned into rolls and a little more head control is noticeble.  Baby G. delighted us with her sweetness, and although she no longer fits into her blessing dress she looks absolutely amazing in her original packaging.    Enjoy this little sneak peek!  Family pictures featuring baby G. are soon to come!!
H and family–  what a gorgeous baby girl you have!  I love how she is such a feminine version of her big brother T.  Thanks for bringing her to the studio!
