This recipe, as simple as it seems is actually quite complicated but it is well worth it.    I can’t believe my baby is SIX months old.  I love this girl.  I couldn’t resist sharing some from her six month session . . .

[This is my almost 3 year old son. Yesterday he was going to dress up as a cowboy for Halloween . . . until his older cousin gave him this well-loved Spiderman costume. The world as we know it has changed. He wore it the WHOLE day, and it isn't even Halloween yet!]

The B. fam was so wonderful to spend time with, and the photos we captured were a bonus!  The girls were so lovely and J & G were highschool sweethearts!!  I loved the combinations of black, white and grays that they wore (plus the hot pink cast on big sister’s arm!).  A monochromatic color scheme is quite  stylish and really allows the subjects of the photo to be the main focus rather than the many different hues in the wardrobes.  This family had never enjoyed a photo session outdoors– and I think there’s no turning back now after we really captured the spunky & spontaneous personalities of the girls!

J & G- thanks again for trusting me to preserve the memories of your family at this stage.  I truly had a blast and you are an amazing family.  I am glad to get to know you better!

Can you believe this was my last “Fall Leaves” session since it snowed just 3 short days later! I am so glad we captured those memories while we could, and that the entire M. Family could arrange a couple of hours so they could get their family pictures taken. M. family you ALL look fabulous with your great smiles, and wonderful color scheme you chose for your family session.  We sure had a blast taking pictures of your loving family, and hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them! L. I really think you need to look in to ordering a wall gallery for ALL of your beauitful images of your family!

Lovely J. told me she wanted to do her senior session in the fall so we could catch some autumn color. We hit the window of opportunity just right, and though it was a bit blustery (and chilly) she was a superstar and the session was a blast! It felt like a mini field trip, and she was a good sport to go along with any locations that caught my eye. Photography is so much about trust, it really is. She trusted me to find the best lighting, the most flattering angles, the right moment and the right place . . . and her whole countenance shows it. Confidence shines when you replace fear with trust.

J- you were so much fun to photograph. You are so photogenic and I love your many expressions and what an adventurous photo session it was. I will take note that horses do NOT like big lenses and bright flashes. It just may freak them out a bit, but you were not phased one bit. Thanks for trusting me to capture the essence of you as a senior in high school. You’ll go places–no doubt.

This year, we’ve decided to add a little more order to the chaos and we are now offering appointments for your mini-session so there will be more time and attention for each of you. We really value our clients and love the opportunity to have you come to the studio for such a fun occasion! If you’d like to schedule your session, first pay online with a credit card and then call to schedule your time. Payment must be received in order to add you to the calendar.
