Most of us create special places to house our photos. Unfortunately in this digital age, that means our photos “live” in our computers and rarely escape to find a suitable place on our walls. There’s nothing like the feeling of having fresh new pictures to decorate my walls with! It is the feeling of complete project execution from idea to photo shoot to printing the images and finally to display and enjoy. Here are some faces very sentimental to me– what better art to adorn my walls? I created this wall gallery at the beginning of Jan ’09 and have yet to share it with all of you:
This project was inspired by an amazing wall gallery by photographer Tara Whitney who used these frames from ikea to create a modern, fun, complete portrait of her family. I was mesmerized and knew that I wanted to create something with the same vibe for my wall gallery. My photos and frames are 12×16, as I didn’t have room for three rows of three 20″x20″ pictures.
