“Are you kidding me? Snow?!?” I said aloud as I looked out the window one spring morning. I could hardly believe my eyes, but my entire front lawn was covered in the white fluffy stuff. This was not the vision I had for Eric & Camille’s bride and groom session, didn’t the weather man get my special request? We didn’t have time to reschedule, as they had just arrived the night before from out of state and their wedding was only two days away. An amazing transformation took place and the clouds began to slip away, the sun presented itself in a warm and vibrant manner. The delicate snow quickly melted into the ground. Everything seemed extra green and fresh. Now we’re talking!
The couple arrived at the studio- we sent Eric off to change into his tux while Camille’s mother and niece helped her get ready in her gown. We could hardly wait for the two of them to see each other for the first time in their wedding attire!

We sent Eric off to the orchard to await for his bride-to-be. We had him turn away until she was situated and then . . . it was love at first sight!

Aren’t they such a great couple?
Believe it or not, we had a little “too much” sunshine, and had to rig up a sheet as a diffuser at camera left so we could get these shots:

Eric has got the James Bond look down- looking sharp in that tux BTW!

Lovebirds . . .

Another location and even more dreaminess.

Eric & Camille- I am so glad we were able to do this bride + groom session! Thank you for allowing me to document your amazing connection and love for each other. I love the story of how your two lives came together- no doubt you were meant to be! Your wedding collection is currently being polished up for you- can’t wait for you to see your images!

How can you resist these two brothers?

I’m guessing that they’ve stolen your hearts too?

If you are anxiously awaiting photos (and I hope you are) . . . I thank you for your patience. I promise they’ll be worth the wait!

Never let a perfectly good evening with beautiful light go to waste . . . make it count! This session was no exception. The sky glowed with a perfect mix of sunshine and clouds and with a slight breeze in the air we were set! I truly enjoyed capturing these images of the beautiful and soon-to-be high school graduate Amanda.
And to our lovely model of the evening, I’m so glad we were able to get acquainted quickly. I love learning more about the people I am photographing- what makes you happy, what brings you joy, who you are on the inside. I’m glad you didn’t hold back- you’ve got some major modeling skills not to mention a truly genuine quality about you. Thanks for sharing that with me- I am thrilled with the many images in your collection. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Make it count!

[Beautiful, beautiful girl, wouldn't you agree?]
I love, love, these images! Not only are they of some of my very favorite people in the world, I love the bright color scheme, and massive personality packed in every image.
J. & K. thanks again for flying me up to Oregon to photograph your wonderful family- H. and I had such a memorable time.
K. I think all of our driving around and scouting out for the perfect location definitely paid off- these images look great!

Thanks to the wonderful Cody & Joslyn for a fantastic bride + groom session, and of course wedding! ~Amy
I figure I ought to post a few pictures of Baby C. at 11 months before I go ahead with showing you her one year session! I love being this girl’s mama . . . I love her spunk and sass, her sweet babbling, her dimple, her soft wispy hair and gorgeous blue eyes. She is a perfect baby, and as a bonus she has finally stopped spitting up!! Her reflux lasted nearly a year, and it was quite a challenge for all of us. Both of us are finally smelling a little sweeter and a little less like “spit up.” C. took her first steps on Easter Sunday. Her Daddy said to her, “C., Lets go take your first steps.” He lowered her down onto the floor and she did just that. Step. Step. Step. No, the camera wasn’t quite ready. I didn’t know she’d really do it!
